Regarding the Submersible Luna Rossa models, I’ve already introduced a few here before, such as the PAM 1507 and PAM 1565. Today, I’m going to introduce the Panerai PAM 1391. The blue color tone is still a great match for the Luna Rossa collection’s theme. Among the Panerai models released in recent years, the most eye-catching ones have come from the Submersible line. Some were made for the Navy Seals, and others are from the Luna Rossa collection. I think these particular models have been quite successful.

This replica Panerai features an exceptionally well-made blue dial that shows almost no color difference compared to the genuine version. The hour markers and hands are coated with Swiss luminescent material. As seen in the images, the lume color matches the authentic watch: the hour markers and hour hand glow green, while the minute hand and the pearl on the bezel glow blue. The subdial has a slight recessed effect, and the red small seconds hand is very vivid – this color also enhances the overall readability of the blue dial. The trapezoidal date window has the same construction as that of a genuine Panerai.

The movement is a super clone P.900 automatic winding caliber. The bridge features blue brand engravings, and the rotor is engraved with the OP logo. The shock absorber above the balance wheel is fully functional. Thanks to improvements, the noise from the rotor during operation is no longer as loud as before.

The strap is made of rubber, conforms well to the wrist, and is very comfortable to wear. Overall, this watch is a men’s dive watch.
